Refuge du Mont Pourri (2374M), Les Arcs

Summer refuge situated in the stunning Vanoise National Park

featured in Mountain huts Updated

With beautiful Alpine panoramic views and plenty of summer activities to do, this is the perfect spot for a night or two away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Run by the French Alpine Club this refuge has several dormitories sleeping up to 50 people, on a bed only or half-board basis. Pillows and blankets are provided but for hygiene reasons you must provide your own sheet or sleeping bag liner (they can also be rented from the refuge).

The refuge offers breakfast and dinner to half-board guests. During the day there is a lunch and snack menu that is available to hikers and visitors. Those who wish to cater for themselves can use the cooking facilities at the hut for a small fee.

At an altitude of 2374m this can be a gateway to climbing the peak of Mont Pourri, or a stop over for hikers exploring the area. Located between Les Arcs and Tignes this is a great way to explore the area between the two resorts.

Open from mid June until mid September and there is possibility of weekends bookings in spring between mid March and mid May. Please visit their website to find the latest opening dates and prices.
