Winter Flights Round Up

Summer has officially arrived in the Alps which means we are now one season closer to the winter! Here is a current round-up of flight news for those of you planning your ski trip:
Snowjet
Flights are now on sale with the following routes available for the winter10/11 season. Book by 12th July and get a free 20kg baggage allowance.
- London Stansted to Sion
- London Stansted to Chambery
- London Gatwick to Chambery
- Bristol to Chambery
Snowjet have announced they will not be operating flights from Birmingham or Manchester to Chambery for the Winter 10/11 season.
Easyjet
Flights are now on sale with the following destinations available for the winter 10/11 season:
- Geneva
- Grenoble
- Lyon
- Milan
- Turin
Ryanair
Ryanair has announced it will be cutting UK winter capacity by 16% as of November, in particular London Stansted will be cut by 17%. Ryanair will have 135 fewer weekly frequencies and a loss of up to 1.5m passengers from Stansted between November and March 2011.
Ryanair blames the UK government £11 tourist tax which has a continual effect on British air-traffic, tourism and jobs.
