Video Snow Reports are a free service we are offering, in which we finally reveal the identities of some of our Snow Reporters... well that's assuming they are not wearing balaclavas and aviator shades - just to protect them from the from the same people who are after ‘The Stig’ from the BBC’s Top Gear.
Our videos rely on the latest Flash Player technology. If the video(s) won't play in your browser then you may need to update to the latest version of the Flash Player plugin. This update is free and should only take seconds on most computers.

The Toviere Couloirs were, for the second time, the setting for the Evolution 2 Full Moon Freeride. Armed with nothiing more than a head torch and a spotlight the most extreme freeriders around took to the infamous face to compete for the title.
Tignes is certainly looking extreme at the moment what with this event and the build up to the X-Games which is looking bigger and better with every passing day.
Weather wise, basically its been rubbish but it is going to improve and when it does the snow is in perfect shape for the world to see.

Video Snow Report from Tignes : Thu 18th Feb 2010 - A quiet spot during the holiday mayhem
You must have Javascript enabled.
This week I've tried to find a spot away from all the ski schools and holiday mayhem that has hit the slopes. Its actually not been too bad and the lift cues, normally the bain of my life during holiday time, have not been as tiresome as I expected.
Piste 'L' is a great little run which is slightly challenging but fun and not a usual ski school rat run. Easy to get to a from and pretty, what more could you want?
All the footage in today's report was taken today so you can get a good idea of the way the weather changes in such a quick time.
Snow tomorrow then a bit more sun for next week I hope.

Video Snow Report from Tignes : Fri 12th Feb 2010 - Eye of the needle

After a few days when we thought we might be heading for springtime the temperatures have plumeted back down to the very chilly -10 to -20 zone. Lift stations are warning of extreme cold temperatures at altitude and they're not wrong!
Luckily if you wrap up warm there are some fantastic snow conditions to be taken advantage of. The new powder which fell recently is so light its a dream and the pistes are gorgeous to ski on too.
School holidays are packed with a million and one things to do for you and your family so there will hardly be time to sit down and sup a warming hot chocolate....but I'm sure we'll find time.
