The weather has closed in since the weekend when we had beautiful clear blue skies and perfect skiing conditions. The clouds are back now and so is the snow but the sunshine should return by the weekend for some late Spring skiing. more »

Sunshine for one day of the Brits

It has been cloudy, cold and windy this week in Tignes and Val d'Isere which has slowed things down at the Brits and meant that the skiercross took place in almost zero visibility.
There is sunshine on the forecast though and hopefully we'll have more clear skies before the end of March.

It's been mostly sunny this week in Val d'Isere and Tignes but some clouds moved over the Espace Killy this afternoon and the forecast is that they are bringing some snow. Only about 10 cm but as the forecast is for clear skies and sunshine over the weekend this should make conditions perfect for any new arrivals. more »

Mixed weather this week across the Espace Killy

IT has been a very mixed week. Monday was the best day with fresh snow that fell on Sunday night and clear skies all day. After that the clouds moved in and out and in some cases even brought a little rain making some of the lower slopes very icy and hard. Hopefully we'll see some fresh snow this weekend which should top up the pistes. more »

It's been a great few days. Cold temperatures made the snow a little slow at times but the snow has been soft in the off piste. Soft enough to try a few flips without worrying too much about the landings. more »

There have been some great days on the hill lately. Last weekend we had plenty of fresh powder and clear skies and it looks like we have a few more days like that ahead.
The forecast is pretty mixed for the next few days but we should get some more sunshine before the weekend.

We want Video snow reporters for our Skinets sites over the winter. If you are already a video blogger or if you have always wanted to try presenting and reporting then this is the ideal chance to show the world what you've got.
Our reports go out once a week and cover everything from snow conditions and weather forecasts to apres ski tips and parties in town. We'll pay for each report and organise press passes for some of the biggest events of the winter.

The temperatures have dropped here in the Espace Killy but the skies have cleared and we have had some great days up on the hill. The forecast is for more cold weather and more clear skies so wrap up warm and enjoy all the great snow. This time last year it was all melting!! more »

Santa is on his way to the Espace Killy but even with reindeer he's going to struggle to get through all the snow we've been having!! Over a metre and a half has fallen in town alone and up on the hill there is powder everywhere. When the sun comes out this weekend there is going to be some great skiing and snowboarding. more »
