Wolf Culling as Population Rises

The wolf population in France has grown by an estimated 25% this year which has caused for concern amongst the authorities.
The latest wolf plan is set to cull 24 wolves over a short period of time in an effort to both preserve species and prevent excessive proliferation.

Only recently a wolf had been spotted by a piste patroller in Chamonix, this was the first time that a wolf had been sighted in the Chamonix valley for many years.
Wild wolves try to avoid contact with people, if contact is made they appear timid and tend to flee.
