Tignes guide breaks his leg in an Avalanche in Champagny
3 clients watched as the guide was carried off by the slide
Yesterday morning at around 11am a ski guide from Tignes was in an off-piste area of Champagny with some clients when he triggered an avalanche.
Thankfully he'd had enough time to deploy his airbag, but unfortunately hit some rocks, breaking his femur in the process.
His 3 clients watched totally unable to help, and the guide was later taken to Bourg St Maurice for treatment.
