Tignes glacier closes early for summer skiers
Hot weather forces glacier ski area to close a week early
Due to the recent hot weather (for which we are not complaining!) the glacier has unfortunately had to close early to skiers and snowboarders.
It was scheduled to remain fully open until next Sunday 4th September, but instead had to bow out early yesterday.
The glacier will remain open to pedestrians until 4th September and will reopen to everyone on 1st October 2011.
